Here are some commonly asked questions pertaining to our counseling services.
What is the cost for a Counseling Session and do you take insurance?
We are committed to keeping services financially accessible. We offer fair, competitive private-pay rates, and a limited number of sliding scale spots are available based on need. We do not accept insurance at this time.
Are the services I receive at the Center confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is very important to us. All counseling services are confidential and follow professional and legal confidentiality guidelines. The only exceptions to confidentiality are situations required by law, such as risk of harm to yourself or others, abuse or neglect of children, incapacitated adults and elderly. These limits will be explained clearly during the intake process.
If I am not part of True North Church, can I still access what the Center offers?
Absolutely. The Center is open to the broader community. You do not need to be a part of True North Church to receive services.
If I am not a Christian, can I take part in the Center?
Yes. While the Center is based in Christian beliefs and values, we welcome individuals from all backgrounds and belief systems. You are not required to share our faith to receive care. Our team is committed to providing respectful, compassionate support to every person we serve.
