Marriage
We believe God has a desire for every marriage to be strong, healthy and rooted in Him. Still, we know many couples experience bumps in the road or significant challenges that require more intensive supports. If you find yourself in that place, marriage mentoring could be a great next step for you.
Here are some commonly asked questions pertaining to our coaching services.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a short-term, goal-focused process designed to help you gain clarity, take action, and move forward in a specific area of your life. It focuses on personal growth, practical steps, and aligning your goals with God’s promises and truth.
How is coaching different from counseling?
Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. It is designed to help you achieve specific goals and close the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Counseling, by contrast, often addresses deeper emotional healing, mental health concerns, or past trauma.
How long does coaching last?
Coaching is short-term and typically ranges from 3-5 sessions, depending on your goals.
Is coaching biblically based?
Yes. Coaching integrates biblical principles and encourages growth rooted in God’s truth and promises. You do not need to be a biblical expert — just open to faith-based encouragement throughout the process.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Coaching conversations are kept private and handled with care and professionalism. The same exceptions apply to coaching as with counseling services.
Who is coaching for?
Coaching is for individuals or couples who are motivated to grow, ready to take action, and looking for structured guidance and accountability.
